About Silver Oak Care

Why we started Silver Oak Care

We believe everyone deserves care that feels like it comes from family: warm, reliable and respectful of the life you've built.

Our story

Rooted in Stanmore, caring across London

Silver Oak Care Ltd has been registered with the Care Quality Commission since July 2020 to provide personal care to people in their own homes.

Whether it's an elderly parent who wants to stay at home, a child with additional needs, or an adult who wants more independence, we take the time to understand the person first and then build the support around them. Our office is in Stanmore, and we arrange care across London.

Like an oak, we aim to be steady, strong and there for the long term, for the people we support and their families.

What we believe

Four ideas guide everything we do

They shape every visit, every care plan and every person we hire.

  • Home comes first

Your home is where you feel most yourself. Our job is to help you stay there for as long as you want to.

  • Care is a partnership

We plan with you and the people close to you, and we keep you informed every step of the way.

  • Every person is different

Age, diagnosis or disability never define someone. We get to know the whole person, not just their needs.

  • Independence matters

We do things with you, not for you, so you keep the skills, choices and confidence that matter to you.

Your safety

How we keep you safe

Letting someone into your home takes trust. Here's how we earn it.

  • Careful recruitment

Every carer has verified references, the right background checks and a face-to-face interview before they meet you.

  • Ongoing training

All our staff hold the Care Certificate, plus specialist training in areas such as dementia, autism, safeguarding and moving and handling.

  • Regular reviews

We review every care plan regularly and whenever your needs change, and you can call us at any time.

  • On call 24 hours a day

Our office is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, and our on-call team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
