FAQs

Common questions

Can't find your answer? Get in touch and we'll help.

How much does care cost?

It depends on the type of care, how many hours you need and when. We don't publish fixed prices because every plan is different. Call or WhatsApp us and we'll send a clear written quote after a free assessment.

Who pays for care?

Care can be paid for privately, through your local council (including direct payments), or through NHS Continuing Healthcare if you're eligible. We can explain the options and help you through the process.

Are you registered with the CQC?

Yes. Silver Oak Care Ltd is registered with the Care Quality Commission and is rated Good overall, and Good for being safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. You can read our full report on the CQC website.

Do you support children?

Yes. We support children and young people aged 0 to 18 with disabilities, autism and other additional needs, working closely with parents and carers.

How quickly can care start?

Often within a few days of your assessment, depending on your needs and where you live. If you need care urgently, tell us when you call.

Will I see the same carers?

We aim to give you a small, consistent team so you get to know the people who visit you, and they get to know you.
